The Playwrights Workshop is place where playwrights train. Our curriculum is designed to take the playwright from page to stage. Whether you’re at the beginning of your career as a playwright, or working toward your degree; our work is designed for you. Training with us is the entry point to our new play development process.

What’s the timezone?

The timezone is CST.

Will there be classes?

Yes, during the summit playwrights will be able to take one-on-one classes with Josh Wilder in-person and also online during our virtual sessions.

Will classes be recorded?

Classes are live. There will be no recordings available. Video content will be coming soon.

Is the summit open to international writers?

Sure is. If you can read, write, and speak English to the best of your ability-- come through!

What should I expect?

You should expect to be writing. You should expect to be reading. You should expect to be an active member of a community of playwrights who are holding themselves accountable to one another the second the summit begins. You should expect to open yourself to possibility and surprise.
